General Information
When you visit the Let’s Talk Nutrition Web Site (“LTN Site”) some basic general information may be collected. This information may be used to improve the LTN Site and make your use of the LTN Site more agreeable and efficient. Cookies may also be used to help us determine what services you use and the support required, and to help us identify and solve problems you may have when using the LTN Site. This general information is used for internal purposes only.
Personal Information and Changes Thereto
When you set up an account on the LTN Site, we collect personal information (which you provide) that may include your (referred to collectively as “Personal Information”):

You can change or update your Personal Information on the LTN Site by changing your account information.

- Select “View | Internet Options…” from the main menu.
- Change to the “Security” tab.
- Select “Custom” and click “Settings…”
- Scroll down to the “Security” section.
- To enable: Select “Always accept cookies”
To disable: Select “Disable all cookie use”
To get a prompt: Select “Prompt before accepting cookies” - Click “OK”
Explorer 5.x
- Select “Tools | Internet Options…” from the main menu.
- Change to the “Security” tab
- Click “Custom Level…”
- Scroll down to the “Cookies” section.
- To enable: Set “Allow cookie that are stored on your computer” to “Enable” Set “Allow per-session cookies” to “Enable”
To disable: Set “Allow cookie that are stored on your computer” to “Disable” Set “Allow per-session cookies” to “Disable”
To get a prompt: Set “Allow cookie that are stored on your computer” to “Prompt” Set “Allow per-session cookies” to “Prompt” - Click “OK”
Navigator 3.x
- Select “Options | Network Preferences…” from the main menu.
- Change to the “Protocols” tab.
- Navigator 3.x does not have an option to completely disable accepting cookies.
To get a prompt: Check “Accepting a Cookie” under “Show an Alert Before” - Click “OK”
Communicator 4.x
- Select “Edit | Preferences…” from the main menu.
- Select “Advanced”
- To enable: Select “Accept all cookies” or “Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server”
To disable: Select “Disable cookie”
To get a prompt: Check “Warn me before accepting a cookie” and select “Accept all cookies” or “Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server” - Click “OK”
Pop-up blockers may prevent additional pop-up windows from opening in your browser, including other “good” software. If you disable JavaScript pop-up ad windows, you may also disable other website functionality that uses JavaScript. If you’re using a pop-up blocker that allows you to designate “pop-up friendly” sites, please refer to your software application’s manual or Help files to learn how to add www.LetsTalkNutrition.com to your approved list.
Personal Information Protection
If you provide us with your email address, we may use it to provide you with information about the show. We may also send out emails from time to time, including newsletters, offering more discounts, coupons, or other deals as well as valuable information from one of our corporate sponsors.
Let’s Talk Nutrition wants you to know that your Personal Information is used internally only and only in a manner that does not readily identify you to a third party.
Law Enforcement Agencies
Let’s Talk Nutrition fully cooperates with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who use the LTN Site for illegal activities, and may in its sole discretion disclose Personal Information or other information to satisfy any law, regulation, subpoena, or government request, or in connection with litigation. Let’s Talk Nutrition reserves the right to release Personal Information or any other information we may have about users who we believe are engaged in illegal activities or are otherwise in violation of our Internet policies, even without a subpoena, warrant or court order, if we believe in our sole discretion that such disclosure is necessary or appropriate to operate the LTN Site, or to protect the rights or property of Let’s Talk Nutrition, its affiliates, or any of their officers, directors, or employees, agents, third-party content providers, suppliers, sponsors, licensors, or other users of the LTN Site. Let’s Talk Nutrition also reserves the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities we reasonably believe in our sole discretion to be unlawful.
Preventing the Use of Personal Information
If you do not want to receive promotional emails about Let’s Talk Nutrition, you may “unsubscribe” when setting up your account. When providing your account information, simply uncheck the box on the notice that asks whether you would like to receive email updates about our new features, services and special offers, and we will not send you any promotional information via email. Click here to unsubscribe now.
Additionally, when you receive an email from Let’s Talk Nutrition, you will be provided with a link that allows you to stop the delivery of email messages from us. If you decide to use the option to ‘unsubscribe’, you will no longer receive special offers, valuable coupons, and other product and health and nutrition information.
California residents have the right under California Law (Civil Code Section 1798.83) to require that Let’s Talk Nutrition not disclose any personal information of such person to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. (Let’s Talk Nutrition will also honor such request from a person who is not a resident of California). If you would like us to not disclose any of your personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes, please use our unsubscribe page and we will not use your personal information for such purposes.
Collecting Information from Children Under The Age Of 13
Let’s Talk Nutrition does not knowingly collect or use any Personal Information from children under the age of 13 years without obtaining a consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Our Privacy, Child Protection, and Security Policy is subject to change at any time without notice. Please check this Policy periodically for changes. Use of this website implies that you agree to this Policy as updated, revised, or modified.
